It Is Time To Get
Fully Persuaded
"His divine power has given us
everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him
who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has
given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you
may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the
world caused by evil desires."
2 Peter 1: 3-4
You can walk in and with the
promises of God. In order for God's promises to be activated in
our lives we need to be fully persuaded and believe God without any
doubt. Abraham was fully persuaded that God would do all that He
promised. Abraham seen it before it was. We need to start
seeing through the eyes of faith as Abraham did.
In America today, we have a
microwave mentality. If it does not happen in our timing, we think
it won't happen. We want everything to happen our way and in our
timing. We need to just trust God and not let our own thoughts of
when things should happen get in the way. God knows better then we
do. He is always willing and able to do what he promised.
Everything that we ever needed was provided before anything ever was.
He knew the end from the beginning. We need to get fully persuaded
that God is doing all that He said He would do. When you are fully
persuaded, you will not act on fear and failure.
Many times we are short
circuiting what God wants to do in our lives by focusing on fear and
being negative. Negative attitudes will stop the promises from
being fully manifested in our lives. We are to think positive
thoughts and speak positive words into our lives. Thoughts are most
important and words are the most powerful. We have to
meditate on God's word and get fully persuaded that every word is true.
We need to be constantly chewing on it and getting it down in us.
We should have a passion for
God's Word and a passion for the lost. When you have passion for
something, it keeps you focused. You don't take 'no' for an
answer. God's vision should be first in our lives. As we meditate
on God's Word, we will start thinking His thoughts and speaking His
words as the vision grows inside of us. Helen Keller once said,
"What's worse then being blind is having sight without vision." We
can take hold of all that God's wants for us by getting into the Word,
getting a grasp on God's promises and becoming fully persuaded that with
God all things are possible. Amen
