 Divine Intervention

Join us at Divine Intervention the second Thursday of every month.  It's the young adult group that has people talking.  Sure, we have fun and lots of it.  Who says being Christian has to be boring?  But even more importantly we get equipped with the Word of God that will help us fight the battles we go through everyday.  Whether it is in school, with friends or family, God always has the answer.  And if it's one thing that the Divine Intervention crew knows, it is the necessity of having God in your life. 

1 Timothy 4:12, "Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young.  Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity." God is using this generation more then ever and raising them up to be mighty warriors.  We are raising the standard of our culture today and challenging others to do the same.  Say 'enough' to all the perversion and destruction that is being thrown at us though the media, video games and music.  Raise the standard by staying pure, walking in love and fighting back and not giving in.  This is the reason for Divine Intervention.  It is a place where we can gather, get equipped and then go out the share the truth with others. 

Awesome things happen when kids of the Most High gather and worship him and that is why we start off every meeting praising God and follow with a word inspired by the Holy Spirit.  It's an awesome thing to know that you have friends that care about the same thing you do and to be gathered for something greater then this world could ever offer.  And that is the love of Jesus Christ and spreading His Word and power though-out our school, city, town and nation.  It is learning our authority in the name of Jesus to take back all the devil has stolen.
